miRNA and Biogenesis

چکیده
The number of uncoded (non-coding; nc) RNAs with unknown functions is increasing. Since their first detections especially miRNA ncRNAs have become very important. In fact, importance has been well understood and relations diseases are more evident. It clear that they can be used in the diagnosis most future. Northern hybridization, flow cytometry, cloning, qPCR, sequencing microarray analysis for detection.

Reconstituting plant miRNA biogenesis.
T he genomes of higher eukaryotes encode not only proteins but also diverse noncoding RNAs, particularly small (20to 30-nt) regulatory RNAs (1–3). The small RNAs include microRNAs (miRNAs), siRNAs, and piwi-interacting RNAs (piRNAs) (4, 5). These small RNAs repress gene expression at the transcriptional or posttranscriptional levels and have critical functions in genome defense, growth, develop...
متن کاملComputational modeling of miRNA Biogenesis
Over the past few years it has been observed, thanks in no small part to high-throughput methods, that a large proportion of the human genome is transcribed in a tissueand time-specific manner. Most of the detected transcripts are non-coding RNAs and their functional consequences are not yet fully understood. Among the different classes of non-coding transcripts, microRNAs (miRNAs) are small RN...
متن کاملThe miRNA biogenesis in marine bivalves
Small non-coding RNAs include powerful regulators of gene expression, transposon mobility and virus activity. Among the various categories, mature microRNAs (miRNAs) guide the translational repression and decay of several targeted mRNAs. The biogenesis of miRNAs depends on few gene products, essentially conserved from basal to higher metazoans, whose protein domains allow specific interactions ...
متن کاملInsight into miRNA biogenesis with RNA sequencing
MicroRNAs (miRNA) are small RNAs that posttranscriptionally regulate gene expression, predominantly by modulating the translation and stability of target messenger RNAs [1]. Over the last 15 years, a tremendous expansion of knowledge has changed the perception of miRNAs from a rare peculiarity in nematode worms to a ubiquitous layer of gene expression regulation, with broad roles in development...
متن کاملTerminal loop-mediated regulation of miRNA biogenesis: selectivity and mechanisms
Regulating the expression of individual miRNAs (microRNAs) is important for cell development and function. The up- or down-regulation of the processing of specific miRNA precursors to the mature active form represents one tool to control miRNA concentration and is mediated by proteins that recognize the terminal loop of the RNA precursors. Terminal loop recognition is achieved by the combined a...
